Frequently Asked Questions

What is inventory management?

Inventory management is tracking what products you have, how many units, what they cost, and their selling price. It helps you avoid stock-outs, overstocking, and understand your stock value.

Is the inventory manager free?

Manual inventory tracking is free in the open page. Pro can explicitly save up to 500 SKUs in the workspace, record stock movements and export reviewed report pages. Unsaved manual rows are not retained. Barcode scanning is not available.

What is a low stock alert?

A low stock alert flags items whose quantity has fallen to or below your set threshold. This helps you reorder before running out of a product.

How is stock value calculated?

Stock value = (quantity × unit cost) for each item, summed across your inventory. This shows how much you have invested in stock. Retail value uses selling price instead.

Can I track margin?

Yes! Enter the unit cost and selling price for each item. The manager calculates total stock value (cost) and retail value, showing your potential margin.

Is my inventory data saved?

Manual stock rows in this tool are lost on reload. Signed-in Free users can save 1 reusable inventory configuration; Pro saves up to 20. Configurations contain defaults, not stock rows. Separately, Pro can save SKUs and stock movements in Saved Workspace. Manual entry remains available without a plan-based item limit.
